Map shows toll on world's oceans
A research team of 20 scientists from the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada produced a map that illustrates the impact of human activity on the oceans of the world. The scientists suggest, through results of the study, that only 4% of these bodies of water have not been adversely impacted. The scientists further hope that the results of this study will inform future water management policy.
