Christi Hawk Hart joins Trash Force Board posted by Adam Dickey
   
  Trash Force has announced the addition of a new board member. Christi Hawk Hart, of Fredericksburg, was officially installed as a Board Member at the organization's July 14, 2014, meeting. "We are very pleased to welcome Christi on our board," stated President Don Sodrel. "Christi brings new energy and a passion for recycling education." Hart is a native of Southern Indiana.
 




Trash Force to hold Annual Meeting in Olympic style posted by Adam Dickey
   
  Trash Force will hold its 2012 annual meeting on Sunday, August 5th at the St. Paul Episcopal Church Carriage House. The event will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. and continue with a dinner and program at 6:30 pm. This year's event will be themed "Red, White & Blue" and honor the Olympics, currently holding their 2012 Summer Games in London. In addition to sharing information on recycling efforts in the community, the organization will select officers for the 2012 - 2013 business year. Members of the public, interested parties, elected officials, and Trash Force members are encouraged to attend the event.

  There are so many possibilities all through out New Albany to beautify add function into otherwise unsightly or unused spaces. New Albany is great and we can make it our dream city with some focus, direction and re-invention of our unused spaces! I know many of you have great ideas that we haven't been able to discuss yet and I would love to hear them. A meeting will be held at The Cardinal Ritter House Tuesday, January 24th at 7pm. Invite your neighbors, invite your friends, any one you can think of that would benefit from a greener New Albany!

  Trash Force will hold a special membership meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 15th at 5:30 p.m. to develop a strategic plan for the organization. The meeting will be held at the Rauch located at 845 Park Place in New Albany.

All interested parties, current and former members, and the public is invited to attend.
 




Trash Force Features Booth at Harvest Homecoming posted by Adam Dickey
   
  Trash Force participated in the annual New Albany Harvest Homecoming Festival this past weekend featuring an informational booth. Harvest goers learn more about recycling efforts in Floyd County as well as participated in a raffle for a rain barrel compliments of FAN. The organization also sold fresh apple cider at the booth, raising important funds. If you are interested in learning more about Trash Force, please contact us.




Annual Meeting 2009 -
   
  As a reminder, the Annual Meeting is Sunday, August 23th, 2008 at 5:30pm @ St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish House, located on 11th Street between Main & Market in New Albany. This year's theme is "May the Force Be With You - Trash Force." Come dressed in your favorite Star Wars attire.
