Trash Force Joins Facebook

Trash Force, a Floyd County organization dedicated to assisting, encouraging, and educating the community to develop and implement environmentally sound policies, waste stream reduction, resource use, and recycling, has announced the creation of a Facebook page for the organization.
The page, which will compliment the organization's website, will largely serve as a discussion board and provide an additional outreach tool.
"We want to ensure that we use all the tools at our disposal to reach out to the community and spread our message," stated Warren Nash, the organization's President.
He added, "This allows us to connect with the community in a social forum."
The organization plans to post discussion items on the Facebook page, as well as recruit new members and spread the word about the organization's events. The page is open to the public.
